The North Eastern Counties Dobermann Society was formed in 1986 and is the Kennel Club approved Dobermann breed club for North East England. Members of the Society are expected to demonstrate a responsible and caring attitude towards the Dobermann breed.  Owners, exhibitors and breeders alike must demonstrate this responsbility in order to improve and enhance the health, temperament, quality and preserve the future and reputation of the Dobermann breed.

As a Dobermann breed club we hold two Dobermann breed specific shows each year.  A Championship Show where the society is authorised by The Kennel Club to issue Challenge Certificates and an Open Show. The club also promotes it’s responsibilities to the Dobermann breed through other activities and seminars, details of which are published on our website. Membership of this Dobermann breed club is open to all Dobermann owners and enthusiasts around the world regardless of whether your interests are in showing, working or learning more about your family pet.
