Many thanks to the Officers and Committee for the invitation to Judge the Show.  Also thanks to my two Stewards for their help. Temperaments were excellent although baiting is still a problem. When I first started showing the “all rounders” in the breed didn’t allow baiting and had everyone running around the ring. My apologies for delay in completing this critique but I have had several personal concerns to deal with.

VETERAN DOG (1)

1. SANDERSON’S CH ARITAUR CARDINAL RED AT JODASEEN ShCM – It was a pleasure to judge Hugo today on his ninth birthday. He is a very worthy Champion and has retained many of his attributes and qualities. I hope we will be seeing him in the ring for some time yet. Well done to both Hugo and Joanne. Best Veteran in Show

MINOR PUPPY (2) 1 absent

1. ROBINSON’S KORIFEY IVAN – Just six months 1 day this black/rust puppy behaved perfectly. His temperament was good, very outgoing not at all intimidated by his first show. A little tall for his age but balanced. Good forechest and reach of neck, Good topline and rear angulation. Dark rust markings and tight feet. Will watch with interest to see how he matures. Reserve Best Puppy in Show

PUPPY DOG (1)

1. FOWLER’S – GET TO THE POINT QUEST - Tall upstanding ten month old brown/rust. Good head and dark eye good depth of chest but would have preferred more body but he is only young.

JUNIOR DOG (2) 1 Absent

1. CAIRN’S – AVECTOR TERALINE DU RUSSIA AT LAMARG - 18 months old - A very eye catching black/rust puppy. Standard size short coupled very balanced, Correct wedge shape head dark eye good depth of muzzle, correct ear set, well arched neck flowing into level topline. I believe his future is very promising.

YEARLING DOG (3)

1. NEWFORDS XHIBITIONIST AT TILNASIA - Brown/rust almost 2 years old. Caught my eye when entering the ring and didn’t disappoint. Correct wedge shape head, with dark almond shape eye ample depth of chest, good reach of neck flowing into level topline. Well deserved Reserve CC. One to watch I believe he has a very promising future.
2. HOLYHELL’S HARY’S BOY FOR TOFFARBACH JW (IMP SERB) - A similar style of dog to class winner but lost out on overall balance.
3. MANRIO’S DEL DIONSYSIOS MAELSTROM

1. HOPKINSON’S OTAGO THE ONE AND ONLY JW - A lovely 18 month old black/rust dog. Lots of potential, standard size, short coupled, correct wedge shape head, correct reach of neck, ample forechest, level topline which he held on the move, Good turn of stifle and width. Handler needs to overcome nerves for him to progress but I was pleased to award him the CC
2. LYON’S NEWFORDS X-RATED - Almost 2 years old  male – A balanced dog, has a good expression dark almond shape eye. Chest down to elbow with level topline and enough turn of stifle.
3. GRACE & LAWSON’S NERAK WOT A DREAM

1. HEFFERNAN’S AVAMER ETHAN – Three year old black/rust dog. A good outline, correct wedge shape head nice reach of neck level topline. Good turn of stifle, tight feet.
2. TODD’S HOLYHELL’S SERBIAN NIGHT FEVER AT TOFFRBACH JW (IMP SERB) Black & rust A balanced male, pleasant outline, short back with level topline. One of the better movers.
3. EVANS & BUTLER’S AMAZON PURE RUSSIAN

1. SANTORIELLO’S CH KORIFEY AMULET JW ShCM – Standard size elegant brown/rust dog Correct head, good reach of neck ample forechest good level topline which was held on the move but would have preferred stronger hind quarters.
2. BISHOP’S CH REPERTOIRE SIMPLY RED - Brown/rust Very similar is outline and qualities but 1 had the edge today but this could easily be reversed on another occasion.
3. TYLER'S CH/LUX CH JOJAVIK BULLETPROOF BOMB JW ShCM

1. BISHOP’S KORIFEY OKSANA - Just six months old black/rust puppy – Didn’t put a foot wrong, a promising young puppy. Handler has tendency to spoil her outline with over use of bait. A wedge shape head, good reach of neck, ample forechest and depth. Correct topline and turn of stifle. Will follow her show career with interest. Best Puppy in Show.

1. BRANNAN GRAHAM & MYCROFT’S SUPETA’S WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE WITH SHARHYSTE - Brown/rust puppy just over a year old, correct wedge shape head, good reach of neck, tight feet, ample depth, very short coupled. Moved with drive.
2. ALICE AVECCI DU USSR AT LAMARG – Almost 18 months old similar attributes but lost out to class winner not the muscle tone or movement.
3. WILSON’S PURSANG SHINES LIKE STARS

1. RODGER’S KORIFEY DEL TIBUR - A very balanced 18 month old standard size black/rust bitch. Caught my eye on entering the ring and didn’t disappoint. Correct wedge shaped head with adequate depth of muzzle, dark oval shape eye, ample forechest and depth. Rich dark markings, Good turn of stifle and straight hocks. Well deserved Reserve CC – Definitely one to watch Didn’t get the CC today but with a little more maturity I am sure she will get her title.
2. FOWLER’S PHOENIX DEL TIBUR – 19 months black/rust – taller than class winner strong topline, good angulation. Moved with drive.

NOVICE BITCH (4) 1 Absent

1. HEFFERNAN’S AVAMER MAPLE – A standard size black/rust bitch. Unsettled not showing to best attributes. Correct wedge shape head and depth of muzzle, head but correct head, level topline Short coupled, tight feet.
2. CAIRN’S ALICE AVECCI DU USSR AT LAMARG
3. ATHERTON’S MOLLY ROCKS WOT A THRILLER (IMP FRA)

GRADUATE BITCH (3)

1. MYCROFT’S SUPETA’S PUT A SPELL ON YOU JW – A substantial black/rust bitch, Good head level planes dark oval shape eye. Ample forechest and depth, good topline held on the move, well angulated, tight feet.
2. TYLER’S NYX ASTEKI WOT A THRILLER (IMP FRA) – Taller than class winner and not the bone and substance but a balanced bitch, ample forechest flowing into level topline lovely tight feet and strong rust marking.
3. SANDERSON’S JODASEEN CARDINAL ENVY

POST GRADUATE (2)

1. EVANS & WRIGHT’S AMAZON EKATERINA – A standard size black/rust bitch, very balance in outline. Good wedge shape head with level planes and dark eye. Strong level topline held on the move. Well angulated.
2. JONES CARA IZ ZOOSFERY FOR KORIFEY- Taller than class winner but good balanced outline. Was unsettled constantly needing bait.

LIMIT (8) 2 Absent

1. EVANS PITTENDRIGH & BLOOME’S AMAZON LET ME LOVE YOU JW – A pleasing black/rust standard size bitch. Good forechest and lay of shoulder. A little Loose undercarriage I suspect due to maternal duties.
2. INGRAM’S JOJAVIK FORGET ME NOT JW Brown/rust Good outline, ample bone, correct slope of topline and tailset which was held while moving.
3. MYCROFT’S SANT KREAL JEWEL FOR SUPETA JW (IMP RUS)

1. INGRAM’S CH JOJAVIK DEVILS IVY JW – Another quality bitch from this Kennel all a similar type. I gave her dam her sixth CC and understand I have repeated this honour today. Very eye catching, balanced, standard size ample forechest, tight feet good topline, tailset which was held on the move. Well deserved the CC and Best in Show
2. BISHOP’S CH REPERTOIRE SIMPLY RED – A quality bitch well deserves her title. Many of the qualities of 1, dark almond shape eye ample forechest and spring of rib good markings not the balanced outline of winner.
3. JONE’S CH/LUX CH KORIFEY TREASURE JW ShCM
